Panasonic officially announced the DMP-BD10 Blu-ray Disc player two weeks ago. Back then no official photo of the BD10 was available. Most news sites used old photos of Panasonic Blu-ray players that were shown at some point in the past.
Panasonic emailed us today a hi-res photo showing the final design of the Panasonic DMP-BD10.
Actually the photo has still XX instead of the number 10 in the BD10 product ID printed on the front.
The photo shows the BD10 standing on the Panasonic AV Receiver SA-XR700. The SA-XR700 has HDMI inputs with HDAVI EZ-Sync Control, making it the ideal center for a HD Home theater.
The Panasonic Blu-ray Disc Player will ship this fall in the United States for a reported $1,500. I am very pleased with the Panasonic component design, but they have to work on the price.
