Yesterday we reported about the BMW CLEVER Concept tilting three-wheeler, which is still far away from becoming commercial. A UK company is actually already on the market with a tilting three-wheeled vehicle dubbed CARVER ONE.

The Carver One is for people who love curves. Its top speed is 115 mph (185km/h). The motorcycle car mix accelerates from 0-60mph in 8.2s. It has a 68hp 4 cylinder 16 valve turbo intercooler engine.

At the heart of the Carver One is the so caleld the Dynamic Vehicle Control (DVC) system which automatically adjusts the tilt angle of the cockpit to the speed and acceleration of the vehicle enabling a plane-like "tilting before cornering".

Formula One's Jenson Button calls the Carver One driving experience: "absolute madness… fantastic!".

The Carver One is available now in Europe. US Sales is building up right now and distribution is supposed to be up and running late 2006.
Now, you really have to love curves a lot, because the base price of the Carver One is $44,850 - that is half a Porsche and way more expensive than a Suzuki 2006 Hayabusa 1300. The Carver One has apparently a 10 to 12 weeks delivery time.
More details on the Carver site (Thanks Lee).
