At the Toy Show 2006 in Tokyo the cute Mu-Bot music player accessory for iPods was shown.
I stumbled over the Mu-Bot in a Watch Impress (Japanese, More photos) report from the Toy Show. The Mu-Bot is actually offered by Sega Toys in cooperation with Avex Entertainment.
The Mu-Bot's hands are ear phones and the chord can be reeled inside the body of the little figure. It can be worn around the neck (see photo below). It is supposed to come in various colors in December.
It looks like it does not do anything else, besides looking cute.
Sega Toys plans to sell the Mu-Bot for 2,500 yen (~$21). More details in this Sega Toys press-release (pdf, Japanese).
In 2005 we had the Zizzle iZ and the iDog. I am sure the Holiday season 2006 will see another line-up of interactive iPod toys.
