Ebony & Ivory Become Infra & Red With Virtual Piano

Here's one of those things that probably looks a lot cooler than it actually is. It looks a lot like that infra-red computer keyboard we first reported about a couple years ago, but it has a completely different purpose. When connected to a PC, this device will be able to project a laser piano keyboard, and you'll be able to jam out your favorite tunes.
Of course, this is no 88-key baby grand, but it'd be fun to take with you on a trip if you're a tech-savvy pianist.
The reason I think it probably wouldn't work that great is that it reminds me a bit of the Sharper Image's Play 'N Roll piano, which I own, and it's not very responsive and obviously you can't play any song that has a reasonably wide range. So it's fun to play a little ditty or two, but if you're the kind of person who actually wants to play a reasonable amount of piano while you're on the go, you'll still need to bring along a real piano keyboard.
But I've gone off on another tangent again. The laser piano keyboard will be out in November for approximately $130 retail.
