Samsung announced the SCH-B570 music phone, which features 8GB of storage.
The Samsung B570 has the world’s largest storage capacity for a handset. Samsung uses a built-in 8GB HDD. Sandisk just announced this week a 8GB flash memory based digital audio player. Why Samsung, who makes most likely the flash memory for Sandisk, is not using flash in this music phone is a bit strange (just a bit).
The SCH-B570 is also a DMB TV phone and supports PIP. Other features include a 2MP camera, TV Out, 5.1 Channel stereo sound and CDMA 2000 1XEVDO connectivity.
To top things off and to make you want to own the SCH-B570, you can shake it to turn-off the integrated Alarm Clock. Samsung calls this feature "motion recognition capability".
Did I mention that this amazing mobile phone is still considerably small with measurements of 112 x 48 x 19.9 mm (4.4x1.9x.78inch).
More details in this Samsung press-release.
