RIAA, Can You Explain Copyright Law? Apparently Not, Say Critics

KaZaA, Grokster, and Limewire, just to name a few, have essentially just become huge billboards on the information superhighway, saying "Hey, Recording Industry Association of Ameria (RIAA), come here for your next batch of litigation!" Apparently suing left and right is no fun any more, and now they're trying to "educate" people, like college students, about copyright law.
The only problem is that people opposed to the video they want to distribute, say that some claims made in the video about song downloading and sharing, are just dead wrong, and it contradicts information on the RIAA's website.
For example, the video narrator states in the video, "Making copies for your friends, or giving it to them to copy, or e-mailing it to anyone is just as illegal as free downloading." However, opponents of the video say that this contradicts the info on their own website FAQ.
So people don't want the RIAA to show this video on college campuses. I say, who cares? Don't you think college students already know that music downloading is illegal? But they do it anyway. Just like they drink beer underage (though which of these is more popular?)
