Sandisk announces at the IFA 2006 a hi-fi docking station for its line of mp3 players.

The Sandisk Sansa Base Station works with the e200 and new c200 series music players.
Similar to available docking stations for Apple iPod players the Sansa Base Station also supports player charging, USB interface, audio out and a remote control. The Sansa Base Station comes with a power adapter, USB 2.0 cable, RCA audio cable, remote control with battery and mechanical adapters for each of the three Sansa models.
Bearing a suggested retail price of $69.99, the Sansa Base Station is expected to be available from retailers in the U.S. and Europe by October.
