Besides announcing the new Nokia N95 and Nokia N75, Nokia also introduced special 'music' editions of the N70, N73 and N91.
The new editions feature a black design, music access keys, Nokia PC Suite and new software for easy synchronization and music management.
The Nokia N91 (photo) comes now with a 8GB instead of 4GB.
Nokia made all their music player related announcements today at the Open Studio event in NY. Nokia has a hard time to find its cool I think in this segment. Apple owns the space and Sony Ericsson does a decent job with their Walkman phones.
The Nokia N-Series has the smell of business mobile phone all over it. I do not see it attracting the kids and colleague crowd.
The Nokia N70 Music Edition and Nokia N73 Music Edition are expected to become commercially available in October 2006 and the Nokia N91 8GB by end 2006, with estimated, unsubsidized sales prices of approximately 350, 450 and 550 Euros respectively.
More details in this Nokia press-release.
