Sony President Ken Kutaragi made an appearance at the Bic Camera store in Japan for the Sony PS3 launch.
Apparently 60GB Sony PS3 consoles are so sparse that Mr. Kutaragi could only pose with a 20GB PS3 (see photo).
The Sony President handed out the Sony PS3 to the first customers at the Bic Camera store. See also our earlier story today about the Sony PS3 lines in Japan.
Sony's President said at the launch event something like: "To see so many fans is truly delightful. The next generation of Entertainment is here, enjoy it".
Photos and videos from the Sony PS3 launch event with Ken Kutaragi can be seen at Watch Impress (Japanese). Some more coverage is available on the MSN Mainichi site.
