For many readers out there the dream of a sweet home theater with the kind of bass that makes the water in your glass jiggle like that T-Rex from Jurassic Park is in the next room is just that, a dream.
Many of us have significant others and if yours is anything like mine the prospect of having wires running around the room is enough to kill the idea of your dream theater before it starts. Thankfully it seems Neosonik is coming to the rescue with what they are calling the world’s first fully digital wireless home theater system. The company claims that signals can move through walls for up to 200 feet at speeds of 60 mbps. As always when things seem too good to be true there is a catch to bring us down and in this case the catch is the price. The top end system will go for a sphincter puckering $15,000 and the bare bones system will go for $6,000. Drats. Story and image via Crave.
