The Nokia N800 appears in stores in the United States without Nokia announcing it officially.

The Nokia N800 follows the Nokia 770 internet tablet.
New features include a VGA Camera, two miniSD slots, stereo speakers and some smaller redesigns.

The Nokia Wi-fi only Internet tablet idea does not really resonate with me. An affordable Vista UMPC with 3G and Wi-Fi connectivity would be more my thing. Maybe we see something promising in the UMPC segment at the CES 2007.
