Hope is growing for the big sensation at MacWorld 2007 everybody is waiting for. The WSJ (subscription) prints the commonly known rumors about an Apple cellphone carried by Cingular.
If the Wall Street Journal writes about it, than for many this means it will happen. Steve Jobs will take the stage at the Macworld in 7 hours and then we will know for sure.
The WSJ article also mentions that some analysts started to warn that a no-show by an Apple cellphone would be seen negatively by investors. Meaning the stock would decline. So Steve, do the right thing!
The Red Herring has a report that an analyst says that the production of an Apple cellphone was not scheduled for production until late in the quarter. The suspense is killing me.
What we know for sure is that the Apple mobile phone will not be called iPhone.
