We already published some video footage of the ViewSonic iPod Projector yesterday. Shane has below some more details on this unique iPod accessory.
If you are really into your video iPod but wish that you could see your programming on a big screen you will like this product. Viewsonic is expanding the ViewDock line of displays with a DLP projector specifically made for the Video iPod.
This projector will charge your iPod while you play back your content. I was able to see the ViewDock projector in use and it looked pretty good even in a room with moderate lighting. The projector has 2000 lumens of brightness and a 2000:1 contrast ratio and also has a few additional inputs on the rear for things like your PC or DVD player.
Designed to be portable and easy to use the ViewDock projector only weighs in at four pounds and will be a great tool for everything from big screen console gaming to conference room presentations. The cool part is that you could build your presentation in an iPod compatible format and then do a complete presentation with only your iPod and this projector. Pricing is set at an estimated $999 and availability is slated for sometime in Q1 of this year.
