The guys at the UK Roslin Institute did it again. After Dolly the cloned sheep the scientist came up with genetically modified chickens that lay eggs containing cancer drugs.

The idea is to use chicken to cheaper produce drugs. The chicken lay eggs that have complex proteins in egg whites, which can be used to produce drugs. One kind of the chickens at the Roslin Institute produce miR24, a type of antibody with potential for treating malignant melanoma, or skin cancer.
The chicken produced meds are still about 10 years away from becoming available on the market.
