Australian SMS Technology is apparently getting closer to release their GSM mobile wristwatch the company announced back in Summer of 2006.

Engadget has published a set of photos of the new version of the M300. As you can see in the photo the product got improved quite a bit from the first version.
The homepage of SMS Technology is also online again. The homepage was gone for a couple of days. I actually received over the last months several emails from an I4U reader who already pre-ordered a M300 back when they announced it. He was very disappointed on the way SMS Technology communicated the delays of the product. They have been very unresponsive and gave him actually the feeling that he got ripped off. This is not how you should as company deal with your early adopters. I understand the small companies who try to release a new product and then cannot deliver what they promised. It is tough, but you need to take care of your early adopters and keep them in the loop on what is going on.

It is still not clear when the M300 is really going to ship. The site is still saying Q1 2007. In the latest news section it says February 14th. Update: SMS Technology emailed us a March 25th launch date for the M300.
