Hammacher discovered O'heocha audiophile speakers in Ireland and offer these very unique speakers in the United States now.

Designer Aonghus O'hEocha has been working before at BMW and Land Rover before starting to design products for audiophiles.

The O'hEocha D2 Saturn are hand-crafted 200-watt isobaric speakers that provide apparently the clearest three-dimensional soundstage performance available.

The 1" tweeter drive unit is mounted on an isolated rubber insert at the top of the the assembly with a control spike that minimizes resonance transfer from midrange to treble.
The two 61/2" midrange drive units, one forward-firing and one rear-firing, are mounted on their own suspension system.
The spheres rotate horizontally, allowing you to fine tune your listening environment without having to move the speakers. Two 11" subwoofers are mounted cone-to-cone in an isobaric configuration add the necessary bass.

These kind of handcrafted and uniquely designed speakers have their price. Hammacher offers them for $8,999.95. Currently Hammacher states that the product is already sold out. It is on the cover of their spring catalog. I guess at this price they only had one in stock. You can call to see if Mr. O'heocha is making you another one.
