On January 11th Cisco sued Apple over the use of their iPhone trademark. Now Apple and Cisco reached an agreement.
Under the agreement, both companies are free to use the "iPhone" trademark on their products throughout the world. Both companies acknowledge the trademark ownership rights that have been granted, and each side will dismiss any pending actions regarding the trademark.
So now we have VOIP iPhones from Cisco and cell phone iPhones from Apple - Isn't that nice.
Cisco and Apple are also supposed to explore opportunities in the security area. Other terms are confidential.
