Besides the new BRAVIA D3000 series, Sony also announced the BRAVIA S3000 series LCD HDTVs at the Sony Media Experience 2007.

Sony highlights that the S3000 series is the first Sony HDTV with 3 HDMI ports available.

The BRAVIA S3000 features a screen with 178 degrees viewing angle and a wide color gamut (WCG) backlight enabling the TV to display more colors. Sony calls this Live color creation.

The Design of the S3000 HDTVs feature a clean black thin frame, with speakers at the bottom. The S3000 will first be available in screen sizes of 40 and 32 inch, with the line-up to be extended in autumn 2007, then covering screen sizes from 20 to 46 inch.
