As everybody expected the EU complaint against the Apple iTunes store is actually mostly aimed at the record companies.
The WSJ reports that EU spokesman Jonathan Todd said: "This is an arrangement imposed on Apple by the record companies," Mr. Todd said. "The main focus of our attention is the major record companies."
Specifically named in the EU complaint are EMI Group PLC, Warner Music Group Corp., Vivendi SA's Universal Music Group and Sony BMG Music Entertainment.
The EU wants that every European can shop on any country specific iTunes offering to get the best price.
Another nice thing the EU is working on is to regulated mobile phone roaming fees in Europe.
