Geil is making some RAM that racing fans should be clamoring for, if not for the high speed for the sweet, sweet carbon fiber heat-spreader. This is no fake carbon fiber look either, this is the real deal that is vacuum formed by an after market BMW tuner Vorsteiner.
Each of the heat-spreaders used on Esoteria is hand crafted to insure proper fit. The RAM will only be available in 2GB dual channel kits with latencies of 4-4-4-12 and optimized SPD for overclocking. The RAM is PC2-8500 DDR2 running at 1066MHz and it is available as a PC2-6400 800MHz version as well. The heat-spreaders are available with black or silver aluminum bases and a life time warranty. If you opt to go for RAM like this you will certainly need a case with a cool window in it. Plus if you don’t have lots of lights inside you rig no one will ever know you have some sweet carbon fiber, limited edition heat-spreader RAM nestled inside. Story and image via Geil
