Silicon Valley company NeuroSky is working on some toys that make use of Brain wave-reading.
NeuroSky envisions biofeedback reading devices that work in conjunction with video games to create a new level of experience. The company's current prototype measures baseline brain-wave activity, including signals that relate to concentration, relaxation and anxiety.
Toys with basic brain wave-reading technology are supposed to be hitting the market later this year. They can be used to boost mental focus or help kids with attention deficit disorder (ADD).Via this AP story on Yahoo!. See also the NeuroSky site.
