Korean AVing brings us several close-up photos of the new Pantech touch-screen keypad IM-R200 handset highlighting the user interface.
Pantech announced the innovative IM-R200 on Wednesday. The slider phone uses a touch-sensitive color screen as keypad. Pantech designed the virtual touch keypad with capacitive sensor technology. The screen even vibrates when pressed to give the user tactile feedback. The virtual keypad screen has a size of 1.6 inch and 260k colors.
Pantech also put some time into designing a graphically attractive UI. See the photos on AVing. Via Gizmodo.
The IM-R200 will be launched in Korea this month under the SKY brand and will be supplied to SK Telecom and KTF, two of the top three wireless operators in Korea.
