It seems that Bo duke himself (John Schneider or Clark’s dad in Smallville for the younger readers) decided to put up his very own replica of the General Lee from the Dukes of Hazard. John decided to sell the car off to raise money for his next movie.
As was bound to happen on suckBay, some wanker decided to bid a gob of money, $9,900,500.00 to be exact and then didn’t pay (surprise, surprise). Hell I had a hard time getting a guy on eBay to pay the $100 he bid for some RAM.
You can still see the auction listing on eBay at this link with pics of the car and links to John’s other auctions. He evidentially supplements his acting income since they killed him off on Smallville with an eBay business. John left some scathing feedback (well not so much scathing) for the bidder that didn’t pay which you can read as well by following the link to the winning bidder. Image via John's eBay Auction.
