Apple reached 10% Notebook Sales Market Share in March

Apple Inc.'s line of MacBook and MacBook Pro notebooks combined for nearly 10% of all notebook sales at U.S.-based retail stores during the month of March says NPD Group.
This list only counts retail and not counts direct sellers like Dell. Toshiba holds the lead in notebook sales in March followed by Gateway and Compaq.
Looks like Apple can hold its own despite Microsoft's new operating system Vista, which is supposed to increase Windows computer sales. I am not sure if Apple will have increased hardware sales when they launch the new Apple Leopard OS.
