Nokia today announced the new Nokia 3109 classic. This the 2nd new Nokia phone with the classic moniker. A couple weeks ago Nokia introduced the Nokia 6120 classic.
The Nokia 3109 features a basic feature-set that is focusing on productivity and keeping things simple. Features include emails with attachments, Organizer with calendar, to-do list and notes, 256k color screen, USB, up to 2GB microSD card support and music player.
"We recognize that a sizeable number of people just want a mobile phone to stay in touch on their own terms," said John Barry, Director, Mobile Phones, Nokia. "For these individuals, and for companies who want to support their employees by providing a mobile phone, the Nokia 3109 classic offers strong functionality and adheres to certain corporate privacy and security policies."
Nokia 3109 classic is expected to be available in the second quarter of 2007 at an estimated retail price of EUR 140 (~$188), excluding taxes and subsidies.
