Microsoft announced today that they are launching Forza Motorsport 2 on May 29th to celebrate the 91st Indy 500. At the same time, Microsoft is announcing a price drop on the Xbox 360 Wireless Racing Wheel, which is now available for $129.99.
Forza Motorsport 2 was designed with full force feedback technology to take advantage of the wireless Racing wheel fully. Microsoft says that Forza Motorsport 2 runs at a full 60 frames per second on the Xbox 360 and the game allows gamers to race on 12 of the most popular tracks in the world.
A Forza Motorsport 2 race weekend is running from June 1 to June 3 where gamers will be able to participate in “Play & Win,” livery contests, gameplay sessions with developers and a leaderboard tournament. Prizes like Xbox 360 Wireless Racing Wheels and more will be awarded to winners.
Forza Motorsport 2 allows gamers to customize, collect and tune hundreds of cars. The game has over 300 cars from 50 of the worlds leading manufacturers like Ferrari, Porsche, Nissan, VW, GM, and Lamborghini. Sounds like a sweet game, I know the show on Speed channel is cool. Via Microsoft
