An advocacy group supporting the decriminalization of marijuana in Wichita delivered a petition to City Hall on Thursday that could lead to a public vote on the issue.
The Wichita Eagle reports the petition includes about 5,800 signatures, nearly double the 2,928 required to bring an issue to a vote, though some signatures are likely to be found invalid.
