NEW YORK (AP/PIX11) — Who needs Stonehenge? Manhattan is getting its own fun in the sun.
“Manhattanhenge” starts just after 8 p.m. Thursday. The sun will line up with cross streets before setting at 8:16 p.m.
The New York Times says the term “Manhattanhenge” was popularized by Hayden Planetarium Director Neil deGrasse Tyson.
