Area manufacturing industry leaders have developed a plan to address a skills gap impacting their industry.
The plan is called "A Blueprint for Bridging the Industrial Skills Gap." A coalition of Louisville area manufacturers — including Atlas Machine & Supply, Ford Motor Co. (NYSE: F), GE Appliances (NYSE: GE), Nth Works, Westport Axle Corp. and five others — are backing the effort.

TOKYO: Japanese auto giant Toyota will start selling its first fuel cell sedan this financial year, with a price tag of around 7 million yen (US$70,000), the company announced on Wednesday.The vehicles will begin rolling out by March in the home market, it said, and during the summer of 2015 it will make the environmentally friendly cars available in the United States and Europe.
