Features & Specifications Connection & Use The receiver unit is larger than the transmitter at approximately twice as large. The receiver has a built in AC cord that can be wound around an internal spool to minimize the amount of extra cord you have to deal with. Controls on the receiver include a volume control for the rear speakers. Once everything was connected up the system worked flawlessly. As soon as I pressed the connect button on the transmitter the rear speakers synced up. In my room the rear speakers are about 30 feet from the transmitter. There was no lag, popping or other issue noticeable with the sound when watching a Blu-ray movie. I could hear no discernable difference when using the Rocketfish Wireless Rear Speaker Kit compared to when I used the rear speakers directly connected to my AV receiver. The sound is clear and the only way you know that the rear speakers aren’t connected directly to your AV receiver is because your wife isn’t complaining about the speaker wires running across the living room. The only bad thing about the technology used here is that it still requires an AC adapter. Once someone figures about a way to power this sort of system with batteries it will be perfect.
