All Reviews | More Gaming Gear Reviews Turning Point: Fall of Liberty for PC ReviewDate: 2008-04-04 Reviewed by: Shane McGlaun Manufacturer: Codemasters Setup & Gameplay Your character starts the day off working high on the skeletal frame of an unfinished skyscraper as waves of German Zeppelins and aircraft begin to bomb New York City. The first act has you trying to get down from the skyscraper as it collapses around you and you fight German soldiers along the way. You fight with real WWII era weapons as the game progresses and the game makes use of grappling commands. Eventually you find your way from NYC to Washington DC where you must assassinate a U.S. President no one voted for that is complacent in the German occupation of America. After Washington you make your way to London before the game is through. Graphics & Gameplay I also found it nearly impossible to get the hand icon to pop-up on manipulatable surfaces with frequency. I would end up moving back and forth in front of a door tying to get the hand to pop up so I could open it. Gameplay was not very good and each level was simply more of the same and lacked the polish gamers expect for current generation games. Turning Point reminds me of a shooter from five years ago. After spending some time with the game all I can say is save your money. This game isn’t worth the $39.99 MSRP by a long shot.
