A USB port is built-in to the side of the device and it has a USB dongle that is included to offer Internet connectivity. In Use Cooks will like that the Pandigital Kitchen Technology Center can connect to the Bon Appetit digital recipe collection and show recipes to follow while cooking dinner. The device also has the ability to act as a normal HDTV with connectivity options including HDMI, component, composite, and analog input. To match the kitchen décor in multiple homes three different sticker-like vinyl surrounds for the bezel are included. The default one looks like stainless steel and black and white surrounds are included as well to match your kitchen. The wireless Internet functionality allows you to get weather reports and more over your wireless network. The screen is sealed to prevent minor splashes in the kitchen form damaging the internal components and is sized so that it should fit under most cabinets. The screen is large and offers good color reproduction and video playback. The screen could be a bit brighter and could use more contrast, but this isn't a TV made for the living room and for its intended purpose the screen performs well enough. A remote control is included that allows you to access the different functions of the device form across the room. An onscreen touch menu also allows you to navigate without using the remote. If you have the wall space in your kitchen, an articulating wall mount arm is included with the device. The stand is removable and installation of the arm is easy to do. The only real problem I had with the Pandigital Kitchen Technology Center was the wireless adapter that enables access to the Internet. The USB port is on the side of the display so when you plug the wireless adapter in, it sticks out from the side of the screen about an inch. This looks bad to me and takes away from the otherwise attractive design of the Pandigital Kitchen Technology Center. Considering they can put Wi-Fi into much smaller devices today, Pandigital needs to make a smaller wireless dongle.
