Privus Caller ID Service for BlackBerry Bold
With the BlackBerry Bold now available users, looking to get better caller ID service may be interested in the Privus caller ID. The software will operate on the Bold and provides caller ID information on every call, including ones not stored in the contact list.
The software also features a quick store function that allows the storing of new caller ID info into the contacts list. I've never used a BlackBerry before but my wife's Palm Centro and my iPhone already offer very similar called ID functions stock. Read more

Free BlackBerry Bold after Rebate
AT&T has been offering the highly anticipated new BlackBerry Bold since Tuesday. The price of $299.99 is rather steep when compared to the iPhone or T-Mobile G1. Now wireless retailer LetsTalk is offering the BlackBerry Bold for free after a $199.99 mail-in rebate.
Of course free always comes at a price. In this case you need to sign a contract that is at least $79.99/month (AT&T Nation 1350 w/Rollover) for 2 years.

BlackBerry Bold on Sale today on Election Day at AT&T
AT&T officially offers the BlackBerry Bold starting today Tuesday November 4th.
AT&T says in their BlackBerry Bold announcement today that in addition to selecting the next president of the United States, Americans can make another choice on Election Day; to buy the sleek and stylish BlackBerry Bold smartphone.
So when you are done voting you can go down to the next AT&T store and queue again (I do not actually think that there is a line) for the Bold. Your boss won't notice, unless you hold the Bold straight up to his face with a big grin, when you come back to the office.

BlackBerry Bold Review
The highly anticipated BlackBerry Bold launches this week on AT&T Wireless. ZDNet has published a raving review of the BlackBerry Bold.
Quote from the review: "If you’re working for a company that’s a Blackberry shop, you should beg and plead for a Bold, and if your company won’t pay for it, you might consider forking over the $299 for it yourself (assuming your IT folks will give it access to their servers).

BlackBerry Bold more anticipated than BlackBerry Storm
The BlackBerry Bold is set to be another big hit for AT&T besides the Apple iPhone. According to our analyses of reader interest the BlackBerry Bold outstrips that of the BlackBerry Storm.
You can argue that the majority of current BlackBerry owners consider the Bold a safe bet for an upgrade that offers more performance and features without changing the way they use a BlackBerry.
The BlackBerry Storm to be available this fall on Verizon is a whole new bag of tricks. It is the first BlackBerry without a physical keyboard.

BlackBerry Bold with Touch Screen and new Storm rumored
Now that the BlackBerry Storm has been officially announced it is of course time for new rumors about more touch screen BlackBerry. BGR is taking the lead and talks up a new Storm-like HSDPA BlackBerry to be announced at the WES 2009 (Wireless Enterprise Symposium, May 2009).
More interesting I find the prediction that RIM will launch a BlackBerry Bold with Touch Screen. This could be a really hot device as many current BlackBerry owners love the physical keyboard.

Blackberry Bold delayed
RIM announced the Blackberry Bold in early May. The Boy Genius Report got the information from AT&T that the Blackberry Bold is delayed until August. The reasons are apparently issues with battery life and overheating.
I actually did not know about a more specific release date than "Summer". Oh well, the iPhone 3G is taking over all available mindshare next month when it gets released on July 11th anyway.

RIM unveiled today the BlackBerry Bold. PC World already got their hands on one and published a hands-on review of the BlackBerry Bold.
Quote from the review: "We got to play with the Bold a bit during our meeting, and found some interesting tidbits. The device feels solid, with a fake-leather back and metal accents. At 4.5 by 2.6 by 0.55 inches and 4.7 oz, it's wider, longer, and heavier but slightly slimmer than the BlackBerry Curve.
