Asus shows VirtualReal Interface at Computex 2008
Asus rocked Computex 2008 already with their new Asus Eee PC 901 and Asus Eee PC 1000. The company underlined its innovator status by showing off some new technologies from their R&D department at the Computex this week.
Asus showed off a new interface technology called VirtualReal interface. The technology presents itself to the user as a minimalistic interface that makes controlling and interacting with computers convenient and easy.

Flybook at Computex 2008
Futurelooks reports about Flybook notebooks at the Computex 2008. The first Flybook was already shown in 2005.

Unreleased Gigabyte Radeon HD 4850 spotted at Computex
The guys at Hexus got their hands on a Gigabyte card that is based on the unreleased ATI Radeon HD 4850.
The single-slot card with the future mid-range GPU from ATI has 512MB GDDR3 memory and has two DV-I outputs.

Tiny Foxconn Pico Projector at Computex 2008
Foxconn is exhibiting a tiny Pico Projector at the Computex 2008.
The tiny DLP projector from Foxconn measures 55x46x26mm and weighs only 65g.
The .3 inch TI DLP inside the Foxconn Pico projector creates a WVGA (854x480px) resolution image.

OCZ Technology Launches New Gear at Computex
OCZ Technology has launched some interesting new gear at Computex. One of the most interesting products is OCZ’s new DDR3 PC3-17000 Flex II memory modules. The modules can be liquid cooled and run at speeds of 2133MHz+.
PC Power and Cooling is also releasing a new PSU called the TurboCool 860 that is NVIDIA ESA certified. New flash drives are also being offered with a small compact Spyder unit, a larger higher capacity drive called the Diesel and a drive called the Fortress. Read more

Asus Eee PC 901, 1000 and 1000(H) unveiled at Computex 2008
Asus finally announced the new generation of Asus Eee PCs. We reported aspects and tidbits of the new Intel Atom based Eee PCs, but now Asus has revealed the Asus Eee PC 901, Eee PC 1000 and Eee PC 1000 (H) officially.
The announcement focuses on the new extended battery life, larger screens, and solid state discs. We still need to wait for datasheets of the 901, 1000 and 1000(H) to see the available configurations. The 1000(H) can be configured with a HDD. The Asus Eee 1000 apparently supports a 40GB SSD configuration.

The Asus Eee PC 1000 and Asus Eee PC 901 have their unveiling today at the Computex 2008 in Taipei. We reported yesterday about the leaked specifications of the new 10 inch Atom based Asus Eee PC 1000, but we did not have any new photos yet.
