The red and furry Elmo Tickle hands fit on kids' hands. When pushing Elmo's nose the Elmo glove gets activated. When touching something with the Elmo hand it will start to vibrate. The Elmo hand starts to talk in Elmo's voice and tells funny things.

Elmo Live is selling now for under $50 on Amazon

The new Elmo Live finally gets offered at a discount. Elmo Live was selling for the longest time at close to $60 across the board. Now I just saw that Amazon.com offers Elmo Live for just $48.99.
Fisher Price definitely made enough Elmos for this Christmas season. Anybody who hawked Elmos early on to catch top prices for Elmo Live on Ebay will be dissapointed. Read more

No Black Friday Deal on Elmo Live available

Elmo Live, touted as the hottest toy for Christmas 2008 isn't featured in any of the Black Friday Ads I have seen so far. What is up with that? Priced at $60 the Elmo Live is not a bargain toy and putting it on sale on Black Friday for say, $39.99 would sure drive hords of customers to that store.

The T.M.X. Elmo in the Holiday Season 2006 was a really hard to find toy. Elmo Live has started shipping pretty early in mid-October. It has been selling really well and stores were briefly sold out. For weeks now Elmo Live has been available almost everywhere for $59.88: Amazon.com and Walmart.

Elmo Live was sold out when the hot holiday toy gift started to ship on October 14th. Now Elmo Live is back at the major retailers at the normal pricing.
Amazon.com has the best deal for Elmo Live with $64.87 and free shipping.
Wal-mart is beating this price only if you have Elmo shipped to your neighborhood Wal-mart store and pick it up. Wal-mart's price for Elmo Live is $59.88, but shipping is almost $10. Read more

Elmo Live gets naked

Elmo Live got revealed in February and started shipping this week. The funniest Elmo version is sold out in most places. Pricing on eBay is currently about $30 above the $60 retail price.

Elmo Live Video Review

As reported earlier Elmo Live started shipping to those who pre-ordered early enough. Gizmodo published a nice review featuring a couple of videos showing what Elmo Live can do and you can judge for yourself on how funny Elmo Live really is.

Elmo tells jokes and reacts to touching his nose and other body parts. On drawback that gets obvious in the videos are the rather loud motors that make Elmo do his gestures. They sound a little annoying and ruin the fun a bit. Read more

If you pre-ordered Elmo Live back in August when we first told you to do so, you should be receiving it soon. At least Wal-mart had a October 14th shipping date for the first batch of Elmo Live they sold for $59.88. Now Elmo Live is Out of Stock on Wal-mart and on Amazon it has been sold out since September.
Elmo Live sealed in boxes are already populating eBay in a big way. The price is around $100. Read more

The new Elmo Live is going to be one of the hottest Christmas gifts this year again. Major retailers started to take pre-orders of the new Elmo Live in August already. Elmo Live is supposed to start shipping next month. Now Amazon's Elmo Live assigned stock seems to be already depleted. There are only 3rd party offers available now that have price tags 2-3 times the original $60.
Robert from Robotsrule checked in with Amazon customer support and got as feedback that Amazon is not sure if they will get more Fisher Price Elmo Live Stock. Read more

Fisher-Price has again one of the hottest toy gifts for the Holidays 2008 in their offering with the new Elmo Live. In February the company demonstrated the new Elmo and as you can see in this Elmo Live Video he is hilarious.

Fisher-Price is launching a special limited edition T.M.X. Elmo this holiday season called the Extra Special Edition. This Elmo toy is going to be available on November 13, and if you want one you better start looking early. It is available for pre-order on Wal-mart for $34.96 and Amazon.com has it listed too.

The Extra Special Elmo wears a gold badge to distinguish between the normal and Extra special editions. Fisher-Price says this limited edition toy has new hidden silly surprises and that you have to pose and tickle Elmo in the right sequence to discover them. Read more

Toys"R"Us issues a press-release that might save your Christmas.

The 587 U.S. toy stores will get solid amounts of inventory of the hardest to find holiday gifts still this week. Apparently 65,000 TMX Elmos already have arrived at the stores. The new inventory seems just to be available at the stores and not online. So you have to get in your car and go there to see if you get lucky on finding a Wii, PS3 or the hilarious Elmo.

New Important Info about TMX Elmo on Walmart

We got word from Wal-mart that the remaining Elmo's of the 4,000 T.M.X. Elmo stock are today and tomorrow available throughout the day and not just at noon.

Wal-mart had experienced incredible high traffic the last two days at noon, which they decided to ease the load on the site by releasing Elmo stock in various intervals throughout the day.

Now you have to check several times a day the Elmo page to see if the T.M.X. Elmo is in stock. Tickle Me Extreme Elmo was gone within minutes yesterday and the day before. Prices on eBay for the TMX Elmo are actually not that overblown, worth checking out. Read more

T.M.X. Elmo Not So Hot With Kids Says ConsumerReports

The T.M.X. Tickle Me Elmo is already hard to get and is sold out in most places.

ConsumerReports wanted to find out what the hype around the T.M.X. 'Tickle Me Xtreme' Elmo is all about and had several kids exposed to the animatronics furry doll.

The 1 year old kids have been actually scared of this Elmo. Most older kids lost interested pretty fast. Read the full review for more details.

Kids. They just do not appreciate the scenes when Elmo slaps his knee and sits on the floor, laughing hysterically or rolls over onto his tummy and slaps the floor giggling. I could watch that 100 times. Oh, I see now, the T.M.X. Elmo is not for kids he is for grown-ups.

The price that Fisherprice set for the T.M.X. is an affordable $40. On Amazon.com the price is already over 3 times as high with stores offering the TMX Elmo for $149.99. Read more
