Now that the LittleBigPlanet Online service seems to work properly Sony hands out some free LBP content. On the Playstation Store beginning on the 6th of November you can download the highly anticipated Space Suit Customer and a Pumpkin Halloween Mask.

LittleBigPlanet on PS3 has Online Service Issues

If you have LittleBigPlanet you most likely are aware of issues with the online part of LBP. Sony informs on their LittleBigPlanet site that the LittleBigPlanet Servers have experienced significant problems throughout the past 24 hours affecting online game play.

Sony is trying to fix the issues and says the service is supposed to be working again shortly. Read more

RALEIGH, NC (Reuters) - Sony Computer Entertainment America's "LittleBigPlanet" game, released in North America on Tuesday, lets players create characters and scenarios for the PlayStation 3, taking the Internet's embrace of community-created sites to video games.
The new game has 50 levels of play in a universe of castles and mountains where customizable sackcloth puppets must navigate obstacles and puzzles to proceed.

Yesterday marked the official release of the anticipated Sony PS3 exclusive LittleBigPlanet. The game puts players in control of SackBoy as they play, create, and share levels in a stitched together craft-like material world.

The game allows players to explore the planet and play developer and user generated levels. Players get to use the same tools that the game developer used to build the game for their own levels and content. LittleBigPlanet is available now for $59.99. Read more

Sony delays LittleBigPlanet for PS3

The highly anticipated new Sony PS3 game LittleBigPlanet gets pushed back to a release in the U.S. in the week of October 27th.
The reasons for the last minute delay are two expressions from the Qur’an found in the lyrics of a song that is part of the Soundtrack. I assume Sony has to press all discs again before they can ship out the game.
Amazon.com posts a shipping date of November 4th for LittleBigPlanet now. Read more

If you own LittleBigPlanet during the first week after launch you can download a very cool limited Edition Spacesuit Costume (photo) for Sackboy according to the Playstation blog.

Sony will show the highly anticipated and delayed LittleBigPlanet Sony PS3 game at the CES 2008.

Sony showed LittleBigPlanet the first time in March 2007. At the end of 2007 it was clear that Sony missed the first announced release date. Now it looks like Sony is going to announce a release date for LittleBigPlanet at the CES 2008.
