Sears has now unveiled all early Black Friday deals for today on their site.
Yesterday only a couple Sears deals where known now you can take advantage of the early Black Friday deals on Sears online as well as in stores.
Sears calls their early Black Friday deals Black Friday Now. The best deals are running under the Doorbuster label. Doorbuster deals are only valid until noon.

Droid Only $149.99 With Contract On Sale At Sears Online [Update]

Verizon Wireless launched the Motorola Droid Android 2.0 smartphone today. The Verizon Online store offers a cool user interface to purchase the Droid, but it costs you $199.99 compared to for instance Sears. I just saw on Sears site that they sell the Droid with contract for only $149.99 because of a $50 instant discount for new Verizon Wireless costumers.

Sears and Kmart Also Offer Online Layaway For Holiday Shoppers

Layaway was already available at some stores last Christmas and is actually a very dated offering, but with the bad economy it has found new popularity. Layaway allows buyers to put a product on hold and pay it off over a set period of time. With the final payment they can take the purchased product home.
Layaway is offered by several stores including ToysRUs, Sears and Kmart in stores and on select products.
The Sears Holding, which also runs Kmart is now expanding Layaway to products sold in their online shops.

Sears asked Americans to list their top choices for holiday gifts and has compiled the results into a list of the most requested gifts. Results for the first week included in order, video game system, MP3 player, Notebook computer, Digital Camera, Diamond Ring, Wii Game, LeapFrog LeapPad, Diamond Earrings, Cell Phone, and Diamond Pendant.

You can tell from all of the diamonds that lots of women have voted. Sears says that men are two times more likely than women to want electronics with the men's top gift list having (in order) MP3 player, notebook computer, digital camera, electronics, entertainment system, video game system, outerwear, jeans, shirts, and watches. Looking at the deals offered by the major retailers they are as good today as they will be on Friday depending what you look for. If you find a great deal in a Black Friday ad, research it online: (1) Amazon, (2) Walmart, (3) Comparison Engine, (4)Google to see if anybody already matches the price.

The rather early availability (leaked) of the Sears Black Friday ads we reported about yesterday gained some high profile coverage including from CNN.
The Sears ads include some hot deals. The most interesting like the Sony Blu-ray player are Doorbusters though. For a Doorbuster you need to get up early and wait outside in line to be lucky enough to get one of these limited offers on the day after Thanksgiving. Read more

Sears to Sell Dish Network DTVPal Converter Box

Sears has announced that it will be selling Dish Networks DTVPal digital to analog converter box at all of its Sears stores nationwide. The DTVPal is eligible for the TV converter Box Coupon Program and Sears is approved to participate in the coupon program.

The converter retails for $59.99 and after the $40 coupon from the government consumers will pay $19.99 for the converter. Dish says that the DTVPal has an easy to follow set up wizard and an electronic program guide with seven days of programming listed. The converter also has a remote that allows control of the TV volume. Read more

Sears sells $199 Linux PC

Linspire, Inc. announces that Sears is selling a $199 Linux PC, after $100 mail-in rebate in their online store. The PC runs Linspire's Freespire 2.0 Ubuntu Linux based OS.

The hardware is put together by Mirus Innovations a North America PC manufacturer.

It appears Sears is going directly against Wal-mart's Everex $199 PC. Read more
