Overview
Ya know, I never thought I would be one
to ever walk around “wearing” a bag unless it contained every
pharmaceutical remedy I could think of to aid me with my aching
bones, body or other sorted ailments. Well, hey, I was wrong. I
know you “gadgeteers” are all loaded up for bear with your high-tech
gizmos like I am and I just plain get tired of my car looking like
the interior of the Nebuchadnezzar from the Matrix and trying to
make sure I have everything available at a moment’s notice should I
need one of them. Sure, it would be radical if I could “jack in” to
the Matrix and instantly have a rack of whatever I wanted available
whiz by, but we ain’t there yet Neophytes. So, until then, we’ll
have to go the conventional route and pretend like we’re back in
school albeit without the geeky bags to go with it. Thankfully, we
have some companies out there who do the thinking and designing for
us taking all that into consideration. All at a great price.

bag! They could have put a “G” in front of the “P” and it would have
made no diff to me. This thing packs what you need into the
smallest form factor possible. It’s like the Swiss army knife of
gadget bags and it looks cool besides. Let’s look at this “monster”
and see just what you can pack in there.

How about over 20
individual pockets and compartments, this would hold a full-sized
35, digital or video camera, batteries, chargers, USB cables, CD
player, PMP, CDs and more. It might seem small in dimensions (8”x
6.25” x 6.5”), but the choices in storage pockets makes it seem much
larger. All of the pockets and compartments are fully padded,
segmented divider panels you can fasten in a number of positions,
removable and can split the main compartment into other sections or
support for a holster-style storage for a camera or other devices.
There are zippered, winged outer pockets for easy access and
storage. The entire bag is padded and the interior features elastic
organizers, pockets, little bungee cords to keep that tangled mess
of cables, lenses, chargers, etc. in order. Nothing falls out of
this thing either. The padded side walls have polyethylene sheets
sewn into the linings to prevent any compression from other items
inside. Hey, how about being able to wear it as a waist pack or
carrying handle that’s actually comfortable to hold. Yep, shoulder
strap included as well with no cheap plastic clips. Only metal
there folks. Did I mention the “secret” pocket for being able to
hide cash, personal items, etc.? Use it. It really works.
Now, this beast is
made from Denier Ballistic Nylon with neoprene protection outside,
but the interior is lined with a smooth nylon cloth and throw in
water repellant capabilities too. And, how about the weight you
ask? No bulging muscles required for this as it comes in at an
incredible empty weight of 1.5pounds.
Conclusion
I packed my video glasses, CD player, PMP, MP3 player, three USB
cables, four Lithium ION batteries, USB thumb drive, 80 GB pocket
HDD, digital camera, HD video camera, smart phone, some cash, change
and almost the kitchen sink. It all fit and I don’t need to pack
around my entire car when I go somewhere. Best damn gadget bag I’ve
tested and seen yet. Strap this bad boy on and let the monster do
the work for you.
